Our guided tours last 45 minutes and run on the half hour from 10.30am – 3.30pm.

Limited car parking is available in front of the museum.
Directions
Located in the small village of Ruthwell just 20 minutes drive from Dumfries and 30 minutes from the English border.
Accessibility
Although accessibility to all is important to us, the buildings are nearly 200 years old and some areas are simply unable to be accessed by less abled or wheelchair bound guests.
- There is street level access to the building
- There is a hearing loop in the museum.
- Single occupancy / all gender toilets are available.
